Daybreak

Tragedies are an inevitable part of life for many, leaving us bewildered and confused, questioning the purpose of our existence.  Health problems, physical injuries, financial devastation, relationship discord and many more disastrous situations all have the potential to create an abundance of hopelessness. “Why did this happen to me?”begins the monologue of the mind.  “What am I supposed to do now?  Am I cursed or is there some divine order for this turmoil?”  Many of us begin to believe that our life is over, we are destined for nothing more than depleting the world’s supply of oxygen.  Countless minutes, hours, days and for some of us, years are spent seeking to discover an adequate resolution.

Substantial consolation begins to appear.  Everyone has “valuable” advice to give.  Family, friends and acquaintances, and other well-intentioned bystanders begin to offer condolences and instruct you with various recommended means to cope with and/or recover from your dilemma.  None of the frequent consultations supply the necessary answers or the peace for which you so deeply long.

Incessant encouragement is received containing the directive to walk by faith, bringing into question the reality of that concept.  How is faith possible when everything has fallen apart?  All the accomplishments you worked so hard to achieve, the dreams you have engraved into your soul…gone.  “I’ve got to find a way to get through this!”

Determination to find the solutions to recover from this tragedy arises.  Every place at which you inquire—various sites, books, people—direct you to have faith in yourself, assuring you of your hidden ability to remain determined as you recover from such a devastating experience.  Adherence to these recommendations result in stagnant recovery.  The acquired solutions leave you empty, deconstructing the anticipated results of your continuous pursuit.

As you aspire to manifest victory in your life, the most significant factor in attaining your desired results is embodied in the connection of your mind and heart.  Knowledge is contained in the mind, results proceed from the heart.  Most are familiar with the cliché, “You can do whatever you put your mind to.”  However, results proceeding only from the mind are limited.  It’s not merely the mind, it’s the heart.  Passion stems from the true desires of the heart, which then creates the needed results.

Why are you alive?  What's your passion?  What are your desires?  What is your purpose?  Whatever your aspirations, if your heart’s not in it, results will remain minimal.  Something tragic may have happened but if your heart is beating, your story’s not over.  Your purpose is still destined to be fulfilled.   Detours do not mean it's the end of the road.  Following your disastrous circumstance, your daily activities may change, the people around you may change, your view on life will almost definitely change.   Whatever your situation, as long as you’re breathing, there is still hope!
